Hey all,

I installed Jaguar on a Firewire HD today in order to be able to have a system
and appz to complete
some tasks at work. Unfortunately, the lab where I am working is still stuck
in OS 9.

Anyway, after running SW Update to 10.2.6, the system hangs during the
"directory services" and
"application services" boot up processes... No success resulted from
verifying the permissions or
fixing the drive from the install CD. The FW Drive is readable when booting
from the other Jaguar
installation on the internal HD...

Does anyone have any suggestions before I wipe this clean and start from
scratch?

iMac G3 500 Mhz (Indigo)
1024 MB RAM
60 GB External FW Drive (Maxtor in a Macally Enclosure)

Thanks in advance!

Judson
