Hi Lists

I was having problems with OS 10.1.2 on my iMac G3 400.

It booted up and then just the blue backdrop appeared with the clock up the
top and the
speaker icon. No desktop, no icons, nothing.

Thinking Finder had crashed I tried a Force Quit, when the Force Quit window
appeared
the finder kept loading itself, constantly. About 20 versions of Finder
loaded before I
reset the machine. Not knowing how to get out of it and I couldnt stop it
doing it, I
reformatted the HD.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is it possible to make an OS X boot disk or
boot
using Norton to fix problems?

Simon
