A few days ago I installed my imac DV 20GB HD on my beige G3 for backup purposes. And it worked! Well, the surprise is cause it has booted on OSX installed on a 16GB partition. So the 8GB limits is for installation only. I didn't know that.

Matter of fact, one of the Sonnet IDE cards eliminates that limit, based on an experience I had with it. It was the 2 port 166 one, I think.
