I am sure that they do work with some macs, newer ones maybe, but did not work with 
the beige desktop g3, and when i spoke to customer support they said as much, but my 
point was that just because it showed up in the profiler does not mean it will do what 
it is supposed to do. by the by, not only did they agree that it would not work, they 
also would not take it back, go figure. so screw IO Gear is my thinking.
