It worked !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used the mount image command.
It's not sufficient to just make disk images. You'll need to mount them to do an installation. Just double click on the images (or use the "mount image" command using Disk Copy) and they'll mount with a floppy image icon and the installer will be able to access them. John
