Hello

I just received a new harddrive I purchased. The dealer told me it was all ready to use with drivers, etc. Now I'd hate to install everything again, to save time can't I just move the whole MacOSX volume (4GB) into it? I do want to preserve my settings and I've got the hunch this is gonna cause chaos in my computer, but then can I install OS X into it THEN, will my settings prevail? :-D Has anyone done this?

Thanks!
Lil
