I have read all the posts and everyone is going off of nothing. It was a couple weeks back that MS said they would discontinue ALL stand alone versions of IE including those for Windows. If you want IE you have to buy MS Windows or MS Office for Windows.
This does not include MS Office for Macintosh being discontinued. It was updated this past week to work with MS Exchange servers. Beyond that MS announced today several more distributions of MS Office for Macintosh as well as an update to the newly acquired MS VPC line which MS bought from Connectix in Feb. MS has also publicly announced the next version of MS Office for Macintosh several months back.
So all this discussion about "other MS products" is moot.
