What is the max hardrive size a G3 B&W Rev 2 can handle with its onboard IDE?

I have the Adaptec 2930 SCSI card and the onboard IDE controller in my G3. What is faster?

Onboard IDE
2930 Powerdomain scsi controller
or 3rd party IDE controller

Thanks
