Yep, whenever I startup my Mac into OS 9.2 my Norton FileSaver Scan (Vers 5) says that my "OS X Volume" is damaged. Is it normal? I had it give me the same error message before.
Let me explain, before I had this drive most of you may remember I did installed OS X into a 2GB harddrive, to which most of you suggested to get it out of it and install it into a bigger drive, mission accomplished I installed it into an additional 9GB drive and the original 9GB still has OS 9.2. Well when OS X was installed into the 2GB drive Norton would say the same thing. So is it that OS X has a new way of handling the directory or files that Norton doesn't agree with or is this something I should look into later? (I thought getting a repair utility suitable for OS X and making the repairs in OS X) I do not have Norton for OS X yet. And I WILL NOT, (some of you may be bitting your nails now) WILL NOT repair the disk with Norton in the OS 9.2 side (what a relief!) LOL The error according to Norton is: "Damage to the Alternate Volume Header Block (Error 16,065)" I never had this error (that's why I think is an OSX thing and it may be normal). Thanks guys!
