System: G3 Beige Desktop, 768mB, OS-X 10.2.6, running behind a router.
Symptoms: After starting iCal, everything seems to work fine for about 40 seconds. Then a rotating clock symbol appears in the "Home" calendar bar, and immediately after that, iCal quits with a dialog "The application iCal has unexpectedly quit."
This behavior appeared shortly after I attempted to iSync my Palm device, didn't like it, and changed the iSync to the Palm Desktop.
