I just bought a Visioneer Digital Camera with 2 MP and 3x optical zoom. But I noticed that it does not do close ups very well. They look very unfocused. I was just taking this picture of a CD rom case I'm try to sell and had to stand back to take it. I wonder how other cameras stack up with close ups. Should I be able to get decent closeups with this camera? Perhaps 3x is not good enough.
Make sure you have set it into Macro mode. Most cameras need to have this set before they'll take close-ups.
