This may sound outlandish, but I've seen this work. I've seen instances where OS 9.x control panels can influence the way OS X works. You are right (and it is disappointing) that there is no way to schedule startup in OS X (that is built into the OS, not sure about shareware).

I bet if you boot into OS 9 and check that control panel it will on and set to 7:30. Creepy, I know. Give it a try and let us know. If that's not it, we'll send for a exorcist... ;)

My Mac woke up today at 7:30am. I've been waking up a little later since my schedule has changed. I remember I set it up for startup at 7:30am some time ago, but then I changed my schedule so I set it up for startup at 10:30am, that was a while ago (two months maybe), then I installed Jaguar a few weeks ago. Last night I had the need to zap the PRAM, and now she is waking up at 7:30am, and I do not see any program in Jaguar to let me set the startup time, I could do it in Energy Saver control panel with OS 9.X, but then I'd have to startup in OS 9 to do that (then it might not work?), it would be ridiculous to think that Apple left that out of Jaguar so how do I set it up?

Thanks
