>I bought a new 30GB hard drive for my G3 All In One. >What is the largest drive it can recognize?
137 GB. For all practical purposes, 120 GB is the largest usable drive on the Beige family. With Maxtor DiamondMax 9 (7200 rpm, 8 MB buffer) 120 GB drives going for $78 and a little change, after mail-in rebate, I'd go for the 120. And, I did. Mine is partitioned for three 19 GB drives (mirroring my 18.3 GB UW-SCSI drives) and the remainder as 4.9 GB partitions (used for DVD authoring). -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
