Hello,
I have a G3 All in One/266/ On restart, the computer seems to freeze and the only way to remedy this is to turn off the surge switch and turn it back on. This only happens with "restart". Can anyone tell me what might be wrong and how to fix it?
Have you replaced the hard drive lately or right before this started?
It sounds like on restart your hard drive is powering down and not restarting properly for the OS to boot. It could be a couple things depending on the hard drive.
Recheck your jumpers. What make and model is it?
