I'd like to remove my ATI 2940 SCSI card, but taking it out of it's slot or detaching the SCSI ribbon from it (it's at the end of the ribbon) leaves my G4 unable to find the hard drive. I've tried making the last "port" that the card uses the port for the hd, but that doesn't work either. Either I need some kind of terminating device for the SCSI ribbon, or it's actually an ATA ribbon (Apple Profiler disagrees, but why would an SCSI card be needed if it's a SCSI ribbon? Very confusing.
