>How do I recreate a bootable CD from this one ? Aside from checking "bootable" when you use Mac volume, make sure you use "Utilities....check aliases". Aliases can create problems if they refer back to the original volume. You would then have to recreate the aliases again within that volume; make sure you use them at least once to get them to connect.
You would want to create a Toast volume large enough to drag the entire contents of the CD into it and then do a check aliases and then check off "Bootable" before you burn it. But it's possible this may not work, so you can also install a universal install for all computers in the custom install section, right into a Toast volume. Then add all the other stuff. But still check for Aliases from the original volume when you are done. This is a good idea anyway, because this way you can see if you get a proper installation from this CD. There are various options but it seems the universal install works out best, at least in regards to using it any computer. You may want to try both methods and see which works out best. ===== __________________________________________ alternate e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sig: Specs: Beige G3 DT/466mhz, OS 9.2.2 & 10.2 __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
