Now, if corresponding slots are occupied by like sized sticks (irrespective of FPM/EDO) then that pair of slots will be interleaved. Sticks should be sorted by capacity and speed, and not mixed, wherever possible. If you wind up with a pair of like sized sticks, but the speeds are different, intentionally switch those with a pair of different sized sticks in order to inhibit interleaving.
