Hi All,

I'm currently running a B&W G3/350 Rev. 2, running OS 8.6 with lots of ram & 60 GB HD. I love the stability of 8.6 but in order to take advantage of some great software & hardware that i've accumulated over the last 2 yrs, I've decided to make the move to 9.2.1. Fortunately, I managed to purchase an original white OS 9.2.1 CD on LEM.

Here are my main questions --- Is it a fairly seemless upgrade (8.6 to 9.2.1)? Should I make the upgrade to 9.2.2 after the main system is installed? My B&W came pre-intstalled with a factory version of OS 8.6 (I have the green system CD if I need to reinstall 8.6) -- should I back up my HD just in case? As well, do I need to shut off my Virex program before making the installation? Any other suggestions and tips would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,
Sue
