Hi All,
I have a stock 233MHz G3 DT with 96MB and OS 8.6. I want to spiff it up a bit by:
1) CPU upgrade - probably 500MHz G3,
This will give the best performance boost, I'd go for this personally.
2) ATA133 card and larger faster drive,
This is third in line.
3) Radeon 7000 video card,
This is nice, and will give you a sweet dual-monitor setup, it's not going to kick up your day-to-day performance as much.
4) 256MB RAM and OS 9.2.2.
You can never have enough ram...256 MB DIMMS for this machine are $38 at Data Memory Systems right now:
