Hi Listers, sorry about the previous empty post!

I have a Beige MT (333MHz) with a 9Gig SCSI drive in it. This morning It
hung everytime I got to the desktop so I removed the Yahoo messenger
v2.5.2 from the startup folder and restarted. Still no go. OK so booted
extensions off, rebuilt desktop, after zapping PRam! Got in ran Disk First
aid reported no errors, ran Tech Tool, no errors, ran Norton Utils v.6
minor errors repaiered rebooted. Every time I started Yahoo "IM" it hung.
Removed executable and shortcuts and reinstalled still same thing.

Initialized drive, and ran original G3 (8.6) restore cd as that is what i
had been running. Installed to a clean drive. Finished, restarted. Now the
sytem starts up and shuts down more quickly but a clean install of Yahoo
"IM" still hangs the system on sign in. The account is OK I signed in from
my "PC" no trouble.

On another note G3 B&W I picked up in a trade:
What is the fastest zif cpu that can go into the B&W Rev 2 board!? Mine is
a 300 and I'd like to get to 500MHz.
Also the video card should have had a standard VGA port, instead there is
one of the older DB-15 Mac style with a adapter for vga. there are also
what appears to be video in, an "S-vid" in, and a TV out port as well.
This I'm guessing is not the std. Video card for this machine!?

I'll be switching from the Beige MT to the B&W soon when I can afford a
substantial chunk of ram and probably a replacement video card! The
standard 6 drive can wait and since it's a Rev. 2 I can add a slave drive
for storage...

Any help would be appreciated on either or both machines.

Pax,

Gareth
