I've got this one and it rocks...

I bought mine at Fry's for an even nicer price...$5 less than what they are
showing it for here. But that's still a fine price for a great basic PDA. It
comes with an USB cradle and the version of PalmOS, 4.0.1, pre-loaded on the
m125 doesn't have the same freak problems that PalmOS 3.5 and 3.5.1 had with
some pieces of software and MacOS 9.x. My last PalmOS PDA, an m100, was also
bought refurbished at Fry's, but had the version of PalmOS that caused the
problems and couldn't be upgraded. I'm going to turn that one into a
universal remote for my TV, VCR and DVD player.

One of the neat things about this one is the MMC/SD flash card slot. You can
use a program called Backup Buddy VFS Free and use either an MMC card or a SD
card to back your Palm up...no syncing needed unless you want to install some
new software on your Palm. No, the proggie is not Free Software in the
Stallman sense of the word, but it is Free as in Free Of Charge.

I don't miss a color screen...if that makes any difference to you get yourself
an m130 or a Zire 71. But if you can live with the retro greyscale display,
you can't go wrong with an m125. Make sure you install all the updates for
the m125 that are available on the Palm site.
