Remove the DT's power supply fan guard by carefully cutting its "legs" 
with a Zona razor saw and you'll gain enough clearance to allow even the 
tallest SDRAM sticks.

Apple redesigned most of the 7500 case for the Beige DT incarnation of 
same, but obviously forgot to redesign the fan guard. There was nothing 
requiring high clearance under that guard on the 7500 and other models 
which use that same case.

Installing standard height SDRAM sticks in an unmodified Beige DT could 
damage the Beige mobo.
