Hi all,

Got an offer to buy an bare bone G3 B&W rev 2, no CD, no Zip, no memory, no hard drives.

Got two 32 MB memory from my Beige G3 and an 4 gig ATA drive out of my closet, connected
the keyboard from my Beige and my old monitor with an VGA adapter to the B&W.

Start from the keyboard, the lights went on, the HD starts, but no video, the screen stays
black.

Is it possible the memory, keyboard or VGA adapter is not compatible with the B&W or has
the B&W a problem?

The VGA adapter would be the first thing I checked out since the problem is with video. If it has dip switches, make sure it's set to be compatible with the monitor's resolution capabilities. If you have an alternate display with vga cable, try using it. If you don't, try to borrow one.

You should also make sure that all the parts are fully inserted into their slots.
