I am a big fan of a laser printer for such things, and for the money I go for a used network Apple LaserWriter, a 16/600 is a work horse and can be found for under $200. I owned one for a year, its a great printer, sold it and moved to a LW 8500. The 16/600 does 600 dpi and does 16ppm, takes the same SIMMs as a Quadra and maxes out at 32MB of RAM. Good printer, what else you want to know?

Could someone offer opinions on a printer that would be used mainly for text and graphics? I have looked a several sites, similar to epionions, but find that the opinions are usually concerned with photographic reproduction or else the owner of the printer has not used it long enough to give a detailed review. Thanks in advance
