NOT a stupid question; I too face the great transition breach as we pull all older-created media into the new generation. A Miro-Motion card comes first to mind; BUT... when you do get something, Glenn, I would be very interested in what OS X software you use that still anticipates signal form a composite source (i.e. non USB or Firewire).
