Something is bothering me, perhaps you can shed your lights on this: Sit rep: iBook 466 SE with Panther. B&W G3 with Panther, four partitions (9.2.2|10.2.8|10.3|no sys), Mac and Windows sharing enabled and SharePoints to share the whole Panther partition.
Symptoms: If I connect to the B&W G3 with my iBook I can only connect using the 'Local' option and it sees all four partitions on the G3??? Is this because Panther automatically shares everything automatically even when the file sharing part says that it only shares you users folder? If I use a PC to connect to the B&W G3 I see the shared folder and the complete Panther partition shared by SharePoints, not the other partitions. This is what you should expect, and this is also how it works in Jaguar. This time you could say that Panther doesn't share everything.
