I cannot print any of the documents I have made over the past 17 years with MSWord X. Instead I have to print with Word 98 or Word 2000 in OS 9.
Not only that, but Word X says that it printed fine--but there is no document in the printer bin.
Microsoft says this is because of unsupported fonts. They say that the solution is to create a new document. But there is no way to even cut and paste or otherwise convert the old documents without carrying forward the do-not-print disease.
I also have to print multiple documents from Photoshop 7 in Classic. This is apparently a known bug that is supposedly fixed---but it really wasn't.
I will be interested in seeing if Panther has solved these printing problems. The OSX print scheme is really deficient.
So It is really difficult for me to figure out how you could have something that prints in OSX but not in Classic. I would guess that if it was a font problem, you should check out where the fonts are installed. They should be installed in every home library, the main library, and the Classic System folder as well. (Of course it didn't work for me, so maybe I should shut up).
