I was wondering if you guys knew where I could get a free program to like
test my system and then compare it to other systems, I had a program to do
this in OS9 but I need one for osX, I wnat to do this cause I will be
upgrading from a G4 400 to a G4 dual 500, and wanted to see how my perf is
now compared to other machines and how it is after I spend $200 on the new
cpu...

Hi Joe

I use XBench for all my benchmarking across our Mac network, its VERY good
and you can share you benchmarks on the website with all the other thousands
of people who have Run XBench, so you can run comparisons between your
machine and practically every other Apple MAchine Capable of running OS X

You can get the software at:

http://www.spiny.com/xbench/

Its FREE Free freee
