Superdrive prices have come way down ($160) to the point that I'd consider
having two in my Beige minitower. I have a Pioneer 104 now but the new drives
are much faster. My question is how fast could a DVD (my own, not commercial)
be copied on a Beige using the internal disk drive bus?

I'm not sure what the limitations are. Currently, to copy a disk I must first
copy it to a hard drive, which as I write, is taking about 23 minutes.

Just to understand the maximum possible performance, assume there were two of
the new 106 superdrives capable of 4x performance and a 4x capable disk in the
recording drive.

Thanks.
Rich
