We had a thread a while ago concerning G4 processors and OS X; specifically whether or not dual processors is useful for the OS. I got the impression that the dual processor setup adds least some advantage to OS X. I feel having two processors is better than one in OS X in a general sense. Agree?
More dependent on the program than anything else. Programs that utilize dual processing; Photoshop for example, definitely benefit for two processors. Other programs the advantage is not as dramatic. With OS X it's an advantage if you have multiple applications running as it can allocate processing duties between the processors.

Any recommendations for older dual G4 systems (800mhz and below)? Also, which one of the "new" dualies suffered from the "windtunnel" issue? The 1.42 dualie?
The 'Wind Tunnels' are the original MDD FW 400 models. All of the dual processor models shared the problem. The FW 800 models were much less noisy.
