Is a Sonnet Tempo Ultra ATA66 controller card supposed to work in a
Beige G3? I recently bought one through eBay but havent been able to get it
working. When I insert the card and connect a power cable to it, the
computer refuses to start up- meaning just 1 sec of switching on/off-
nothing. If I just put in the card w/o the power to it, the computer will do
the initial start process but won't boot up the hard drive connected to it-
get the floppy icon w/ "?" on it.
I know the power cable it is ok because it's the same one I moved from
my firewire card, which I use w/ my iPod, and the FW card works fine when I
reconnected it again.
Any suggestions, questions?
