Okay..... everything with the Miglia AlchemyTV DVR card is working well! All you need to do is install the latest software from their web site. The software on the CD doesn't make the card work at all. They should make this a little more obvious on their support pages I think. I had to find the answer in a FAQ buried at the bottom of the page. Although their support team was quick to reply to me. It was just the time difference to contact them in England, since it was the middle of the night there.
So anyone wanting to add this card to their B&W machine with a G4 I recommend it. I tested quickly using the DVR scheduling and it works great. I still have to play with the video compression settings to get the optimal quality/disk space ratio. I recorded Terminator 3 from satellite at full resolution and it took 13.6GB! But the card (including FM radio) is working great so far.
