I recently upgraded from 10.1.5 to 10.2.3 and am having the following issues:

1) I set my modem default to "modem port" and have checked to make sure this is what it is set to in my network and internet connect settings. Every time I turn on the machine I have to change it from printer port back to modem port before I can connect. Why won't these settings stay put?

2) I can't get Mail to pick up mail from some of my accounts. Two of the accounts use the same incoming mail server and user names with different addresses and passwords. Mail flat refuses to let me use the second account ("invalid directory, path already taken..."), and it doesn't pick up the mail from the first account. My old (10.1.5) Mail worked o.k. for this.

3) At every start up I get a different time and date. Always different--sometimes it is any date from about 1969 to 2040, sometimes it is yesterday, and the time is always wrong. I shut the computer off at night, but I leave the surge protector on. I expect this problem when the power goes off, but not on a simple reboot. This only started when I installed the new system.

Any ideas about what is going on here?

Thanks for any thoughts,

Bonnie
