Hi all;
  I've got a Beige G3-300MT running OS 8.6 with a 4.5 Quantum Viking WSE
SCSI drive hooked to an ATTO-Apple SCSI card which has been flashed to
straight ATTO. The problem is the drive won't mount. The Mac hangs with a
gray screen at startup. It acts like a termination problem I had when one of
the jumpers fell off. Both the TE and the TP jumpers are on and it's the
only drive on the cable and at the end of the cable.
Things I've tried so far are with only TP or the TE jumper on and no
jumpers at all. I also tried shortening the drive cable. If I unhook either
the power cable or the data cable the Mac will boot. The only difference it
makes is the LED on the drive will come on and stay on with the data cable
unhooked. If I hook up the data cable with the drive running, the LED will
blink a couple of times, go off and stay off.
If I try to boot with the drive hooked up completely the LED will blink a
couple of times and stay off, but the drive is still spinning. The only
other thing I've noticed, is that when the drive was working before is that
on bootup the drive would make a faint scratching sound when it spun up, but
now it doesn't.

I tried Mt. Everything to mount the drive and it gives me the following:

  Error code = 70
  Sense key = 4
  Sense code = 9
  Add sense qual = f8

Tried SCSI Probe and it gives me the following:

  SCSI error -7932 (2)
  Sense 9 (248)
  Logical units not supported

Can any body make any sense out of these error codes? I'm beginning to
think the drive is hosed.
Any and all replies greatly appreciated. TIA
