And certainly all OS X books are NOT created equal; the first bookstore I went to didn't have the Pogue/ OReilly tome, although that's what I went there to get; I got different OS X reference, was looking at it in the car, returned it the same afternoon.


And an additional plus, the store that I went to after that, not only had the Pogue book. but had Terry Pratchett there doing a signing. :)

Anyway I advise to believe the reviews and look for David Pogue's OS X book.
