Hi all,
I have a biege G3 that I upgraded using a 400 Mhz G3 1 MB Cache chip from OWC, I installed a fresh copy of OS9.2.1 onto an IBM 30 GB HDD using the built in motherboard IDE chain. It is a Rev 1 MB and a Rev. A rom, I only have 1 IDE device on each IDE channel, hdd is on one, and the CDROM is on the other. The zip drive is on the SCSI chain along with a 4 GB hdd. The machine will run great for a while and then freeze, it does not seem to be connected to using a certain program. I have a 100 Nic in a pci slot that is all, there is only 2 MB of video RAM. any ideas?

Check your ram. Bad ram will do this, especially in an upgraded machine.

also, double-check and reseat all removable components.
