we've just run the lacie firmware upadater on our two external firewire 400 lacie drives (20 and 40 gig). we then used the apple disk utility to reformat (zero all data) and repartition these drives.
the mac they are connected to see's the drives no problem but we cannot share them on our ethernet network. as we were able to see them before we ran the firmware update our only guess is that something has changed during this process. is this a know problem and do we need to change something on the drive or os x to fix it? watcha reckon out there? jake -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
