Hi Mac People

I have a problem with a 17" Apple Studio Display (TFT)

It looks like someone has applied a vertical gradient fill with a 50%
opacity on the whole display. This means its very dark at the top of the
display and gets lighter as it goes down gradually. I tried to get my hands
on a Apple Support Manual for the display but it seems apple has been about
telling people to remove them from their websites.

*sigh*

The only other thing is the power sensor on the display flashes
intermittently with a set series of flashes, Is this like a POST error? (for
those of you who know what one of those is) It flashes 3 times and stays on
for a second on the third flash then goes off for about 3 seconds then does
the series of flashes again.

I have tried it on another machine and the same effect prevails.

My display is out of its warranty period so any advice would be much
appreciated.

Cheers

Sean
