Well thanks! This appears to be true, maybe just for usb keyboards or maybe just for iMac. Certainly not for the machines I maintain that have adb boards. But it certainly works for this machine.
I observed it on an AGP Graphics, only had this quirk in 9.x, worked perfectly normal in Jaguar. Also all the other special keys wasn't available in 9.
Used it for a couple of months, never got used to it.
