Have you tried using Safari. I have been using Safari for 6 months now, and have never looked back.
I have found numerous things that catch Safari out, e.g. drop down menu systems that stick, downloading attachments from Hotmail etc.
It may well be that the web page isn't written according to the HTML standard, but that's little comfort when one can't access the page properly.
It's a bit like having a really good looking car that won't drive on all roads...
