Anyone have success flashing a PC Radeon 7000 PCI (64 MB DDR by Sapphire)
for use on a Mac?

The 32 MB DDR Sapphires have certainly been FLASHed.

Both the true ATI 32 MB and 64 MB DDR Radeons have been FLASHed as well.

Since the FLASHing procedure (and program) is identical for 32 MB and 64
MB, you should have no problem in doing what you propose.

This subject has come up on the Unsupported OS X list, and it appears that, beginning in December of 2003, some manufacturers began putting smaller ROMs on the PC version of these cards. While this does nothing to hamper the functionality of the PC card, it does mean you can't put a Mac ROM into these cards. You might poke around the Unsupported list - I believe one manufacturer that is still believed to be using the 128K ROMs is mentioned.
