Phil,

This is probably the best most complete information on the B&W rev 1 and rev
2. This site is a good source of info on most Mac upgrade issues. Check
these links. The first is for the Tips on the B&W, the second is your drive
data corruption problem, the third is on how to verify the revision version
of your B&W by checking the IDE controller chip. Pictures are included.
