Hi I could not find the CRX170E here <http://sony.storagesupport.com/cdrw/documentation.htm> but I did find a regular Sony IDE config manual here: <http://sony.storagesupport.com/cdrw/downloads/IDE%20Config%20Guide_oz.PDF> And looking at a similar 175E PDF: <http://sony.storagesupport.com/cdrw/downloads/crx175a1/EIDEInterfaceDriveQuickStartGuide.pdf> it looks like the settings are the same for every Sony CDRW.
