I run 10.2.8 and all is well. Panther runs even faster but that's on my 
iMac (266!!)

There's a few years left in the old G3 yet. I need to get the most out 
of my outlay. I picked it up at a boot sale for GBP 10.00 for the G3 
(complete with it's 320MB RAM and ethernet card) GBP 2.00 for the USB 
card and GBP 1.00 for the 40GB. A massive outlay of GBP 13.00 plus US 
10.00 for video RAM from eBay
