Hi there: I've had a G3-MT/333MHz system for a while. The only drive in it currently is a Quantum 4110, Viking II 9.1WSE. I can't tell which SCSI this is. It appears to be SCSI2 Ultra Wide. This I believe the G3 MT Apple sold as a "Server" Does anyone know what the typical throughput for this drive would be. I'm inclined because it supports slave drives (ROM revision: $77D.45F2) to stick a couple of large ATA drives in here and max out the Ram and run it for the next couple of years as a file server. I'd leave the OS; 9.1 currently on the SCSI drive and store everything on the ATA's. That would depend on the kind of speed the SCSI drive gives.
Thanks for any help...
