Yes, but understand that most of these databases are outdated. They are from
before the days of the 256MB-modules.

Maybe the problem with a certain upgrade? For exemple: I have a PM 9500/120,
putting in 1536MB works great. However using 1472MB may work better in any
cases when VM will be asked. Impossible >1500MB IIRC. The same machine with
a MaxPowr G3/300/300/1MB ("The Copper") in, will even not boot with 1 or
more 128MB-sticks in! So left 768MB with this upgrade. OK, enough for this
machine. Just an exemple with an upgrade.
Back to the Beige G3: I just got in:
Beige G3 DT/266
768MB RAM
2MB VRAM
PCI:
2nd videocard (OEM-card of PM 9600/350)
10/100 ethernet
Combocard: 2 x USB, 2 x FW ext, 1 x FW int.
Floppydrive
DVD-CD-ROM, ATA
Zip-100, ATA
40GB HD, ATA, partioned:
7.5GB for 10.2.8
5GB for 9.2.2
27.5 for storage, scrap etc.
No SCSI in./ex. in the moment.
Works great.
As said before, no exp. with Panther and Beige.
