I've had a wallstreet powerbook given to me. It will not boot. We think we
have the power plug socket solder connections good again, but still no boot,
even on wall power and with the main battery fully charged up (done in a
different powerbook overnight). At this point, we suspect the pram battery
may be weak...but what voltage/amperage is it supposed to be putting out?
(If we knew that we could try jury rigging some other battery pack to at
least get things started?) Or is there some other part that usually fails
on these that we should try first? Thanks.
