The software that came with your Logitech should allow you to do that. If it
doesn't, or if you don't like its functionality, you could try USB
Overdrive: http://www.usboverdrive.com

I've used it for years, and it offers excellent choices for customizing your
mouse/trackball buttons. (I'm a lefty, too, and use it for switching button
functions).
