I've just figured out how neat iPhoto is.

I've been moving all my digital pics to my desktop G4 (10.2) and was trying out iPhoto after ignoring it all this time.

I have almost 6000 photos on there, the photo library sorts the overall list by date modified so everything is pretty much in the right order, I have subcategories set up so that I can narrow the displayed files down if I need to, pretty neat. I wish my dyesub printer had OS X drivers so I could print from iPhoto...

Is there: a way to get iPhoto running on either 9.1 (for my laptop, although I'm using ImageAXS Pro on the laptop and it does OK) or Classic (so that I can print from it using the Classic drivers for the dye sub printer without having to sort photos to a separate folder so that I can print selections easily from Photoshop (in Classic))? I think I might have performance issues scrolling the whole library though on the 1400/G3/64 megs RAM though :) but I'd like to try. ImageAXS is OK, though.

I could put ImageAXS Pro on the Classic side (currently it's only on the laptop) but I'd need to have 2 separate indexs, one for iPhoto if I want to keep using that, one for ImageAXS Pro for easy bulk printing (since the ImageAXS only runs under Classic).

Thanks for thoughts;

Brian
