I presume this is email is to say that you are having trouble deleting these files because of ownership issues.
They can be deleted in OS 9 with no objections by the System. You could do a "Get Info" on them and change the permissions so you can "Read/Write" to them (i.e., delete them). Might try Terminal as well
Follow these steps:
1) Open Terminal (in Utilities folder).
2) Type this command at the prompt: rm -rf
3) Then drag and drop the offending file into the terminal window. This will auto-fill the path to the file.
4) Press return and the file should disappear. No need to empty the trash.
